Originating as a custom manufacturer of aerospace specifications inks , Independent has continually introduced and added new and progressive ink products, and today manufactures a wide range of products that encompasses the entire spectrum of marking inks. During the 1960�s and 70�s we added marking inks for the food, beverage, packaging, electronics, rubber and military markets. In 1979, at the request of the Coca Cola Company, we developed inks and makeup inks for use in both large character DOD (Drop on Demand) equipment and small character CIJ (Continuos Ink jet) equipment. As ink jet technology and applications have continued to expand, Independent has continued to add products specifically developed to meet the demanding requirements of our customers. To date we have produced more then 9.000.000 litres of ink jet related fluids, and we are currently the leading aftermarket supplier of these products.
